It's funny how quickly your life can change, how at one moment you're just walking along your comfortable path without a worry or anything, and the next moment you're swept off your feet going a completely different direction. This semester has been like that for me. I decided to take a break from Young Life (or Club Beyond), this year, to focus on school and work. I was promoted this summer to Assistant Ticket Manager and that's come with a ton more responsibility. I work longer hours, I have more projects, I have more...well, responsibility.
Almost three years ago I was comfortable in my life, and it got uprooted and I moved to New York. Life seasons can change as swiftly or as slowly as the seasons of the year. I feel like I'm in an 'autumn' season right now. The leaves are slowly changing, the weather is slowly dropping in degrees as we make our way into the winter season. This is my most favorite time of year, and fitting life is following suit in the slow, autumn changing way. We'll see what happens in the next few weeks/months, but the leaves are changing color and making their way to the next phase.
